Kerins, Patrick "Pat"
Oct 15, 2018Born in Niagara Falls, NY on May 28, 1951 he was the son of the late Thomas and Elizabeth (Wahl) Kerins. Pat attended Bishop Duffy High School, graduating in 1970. While at Bishop Duffy, he excelled in football and baseball. Pat worked as a supervisor for Hooker Chemical and finally for Indeck-Yerkes Energy Service. Throughout his life he was faced with many health obstacles, but he overcame each obstacle courageously and with a very positive attitude. Pat will be remembered for being a loving and caring person, who always put others first.He was very proud of his Irish heritage and a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians. Pat participated in many events as a member. Pat will be sadly missed by his wife Barbara (Nowicki) Kerins; siblings, Mickey (Bernadette) Kerins, Mary (Nicholas) Levett, Girard (Mary) Kerins and Eileen (Paul) Shiah; Sister-in-law, Suzanne (Mark) Czyz; nieces, nephews, cousins, many dear friends and neighbors, especially Diane (late Richard) Butera. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Thomas Kerins; and in-laws, Leo (Charlotte) Nowicki. There is NO PRIOR visitation. A Memorial Mass will be held 12:00 PM on Saturday, October 13th at Holy Family of Jesus Mary & Joseph Parish (Mt. Carmel site), 2486 Independence Ave, Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Stewart Lindsay officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family.
